2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC). Vercel stores server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) for typically 30 days for operational security purposes.

Server-side functions (form-submit processing, conversion-tracking endpoint) run as Vercel Functions. No database records are persisted on Vercel.

3. Cookies and Consent Mode v2

We use cookies and comparable browser technologies only to the extent you consent via our consent banner. Before your consent, all marketing signals (Google Consent Mode v2 — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage) are set to denied. As a result, no personal identifiers are transmitted to Google or comparable providers.

Your consent decision is stored in your browser under the key kosack_consent_v1 in localStorage. You can revoke this decision at any time by clearing your local browser storage.

4. Inquiry Forms (Keynote, Workshop, Consulting)

Under /en/inquiry/* you can submit a keynote, workshop, or consulting inquiry. The following data is processed:

• Required fields: Name, email address, your inquiry text.
• Optional fields: Company, role, event date, event location, audience size, format, budget range, preferred reachability.
• Required consent: Before submitting, you must confirm that your details may be stored for processing your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures / initiation of a contractual relationship).

Storage: Your inquiry is sent as email to Reimar's personal inbox (reimar@kosack.de). Email is sent via the email-delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA — under EU SCC). No separate database storage occurs.

Forwarding: Your data goes exclusively to Reimar Kosack personally. There is no automated forwarding to third parties (e.g. CRM, sales automation).

Retention: until the final processing of your inquiry plus statutory retention periods (regularly 6 years for business letters under § 257 HGB, 10 years for accounting-relevant transactions under § 147 AO, German law).

Auto-save in browser: Your inputs in the inquiry form are temporarily stored locally in your browser (localStorage, key kosack_form_*). This data leaves your browser only when you click "Send inquiry". It is automatically deleted after 7 days and can be removed at any time via browser settings.

5. Google Ads and Conversion Tracking

We use Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to make our content visible to people searching for our topics. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA (under EU SCC).

Conversion tracking is server-side. When you submit an inquiry and you previously consented to marketing cookies (ad_storage = granted), our server sends Google Ads an "Enhanced Conversion" event. Your email address is SHA-256 hashed before transmission — the plain-text email is not transmitted to Google. Google uses the hash to match against signed-in Google accounts to measure ad performance.

Consent Mode v2: Without your consent (default denied), no conversion event is sent to Google. You can revoke consent at any time via the cookie banner — afterwards future inquiries are no longer tracked.

You have the following rights vis-à-vis the data controller:
